One with us at Auburn Hills last August, and one this May at Draper Valley
(This is my note from May) I played in the New River Valley Shrine Club Tournament at Draper today. On Hole #7, 175 yds, par 3, Hole Prize was a 2008 Buick Lucerne, Value $28,000. Guess what. I hit the sweetest 6 iron you ever saw and won the darn thing. You would not believe how excited Dennis Ritter was first of all. Of course I was a mess, but Dennis said Mr. Harvey has been trying to give one away in this tournament for 15 years. Well, he did today. I pick it up on Monday. It'll cost me about 7Ks for the taxes at the end of the year, but what the heck. Where can you get a new car for 7 grand. Yippee.....Two Hole-In-Ones in the past 13 months. Who would believe it.....

10/01/08 - The Highlands Golf Club - Franklin, WV - Hole # 5 - 5 Hybrid Iron - 140 Yards.
10/25/04 - Ole Monterey Golf Course - Hole 16 - 147 Yards with a 4 Iron.

I have had two hole-in-one shots. Both came in the year of 1990, Spring and Fall The first was at Pulaski CC with playing friends, Dr Rick Mansell, Harold Dill, John Spangler The second was at Pinehurst #8 with playing partners Dr Rick Mansell, John Spangler, Wayne Carpenter And as you can see two of the foursome saw both what are the odds?
