 Larry Lingle - LD Overall Winner

Larry Lingle of Cave Spring in Southwest Roanoke County was the overall winner of the Roanoke Valley Senior Golf Tour's August tournament played today at London Downs in Lynchburg, VA.  Playing in Division 3 (Handicaps Over 19), Lingle carded a net score of 61.  Other winners in Division 3 were: 2nd - David Hollandsworth, 62; 3rd - Cliff Moneymaker, 62; 4th - David Black, 63; 5th - Durant Vick, 66. 
 
In Division 1 (Handicaps 0-13), Ken Wilburn of Hollins, VA finished in 1st Place with a net 66.  Other winners in Division 1 were: 2nd - Joe Surkamer, 66; 3rd - Roger Holtman, 67; 4th - Guido Edillon, 67; 5th - Jack Sale, 69. 
 
Hi Nicely of Daleville, VA Picked up Division 2 (Handicaps 14-19) 1st place honors with a net score of 65.  2nd - Dan Shelton, 67; 3rd - Pete Akers, 67; 4th - William Cox, 68; 5th - Mike Barnhill, 68.
 
Woody Deans of Southwest Roanoke had the overall low gross score with a 74.
