Hanging Rock Tournament Results

Woody Deans of Salem, Virginia was the overall winner in the Roanoke Valley Senior Golf Tour's May tournament played today at Hanging Rock Golf Club. Playing in Division 1 (Handicaps 0-13), Deans shot a 68, netting a score of 62. Other winners in Division 1 were: James Saul - 2nd, 64; Andy Shumate - 3rd, 65; Lee Hipp - 4th, 66; Ken Kornegay - 5th, 66.

In Division 2, (Handicaps 14-19), Richard Smith of Southwest Roanoke won 1st Place with a net score of 64. Other winners in Division 2 were: Bob Poff - 2nd, 65; Rosco Cianciotto - 3rd, 65; Rich Gezymalla - 4th, 66; Butch Blessard - 5th, 66.

Division 3 (Handicaps over 19) winners were: 1st Place - Patrick Lynch of Daleville, VA, net 64; Lewis Burger - 2nd, 68; Rick Elmore - 3rd, 69; Ted Powell - 4th, 69; Edward Arrington - 5th, 69.
